From scoring touchdowns to carrying on the brotherhood tradition outside of O'Dea.

Updated: Oct 27, 2022

SEATTLE - During his time at O'Dea, alumni Parker D'Anna did many special things and actively participated in O'Dea community activities.

"Involving yourself in the community is super important while you're at O'Dea, it's where I got closer with my brothers," said D'Anna.

But on the Gridiron is where D'Anna excelled the most, even winning the 2017 state championship playing safety and fullback. During the 2017 state run, D'Anna was rewarded with many accolades that season including 2nd team All-Metro Safety and Fullback and Seattle Seahawks Athlete of the Week.

"That whole season was pretty crazy, the amount of adversity we faced and went through, it made all of us super close, and that is a big reason on why we won the whole thing," added D'Anna.

After graduating in 2018, D'Anna currently attends Texas Christian University where he is entering into the Ranch Management program while also being a psychology major.

"O'Dea taught me about how to engage myself in society and I still use a lot of what I learned there, in my daily life today," commented D'Anna.

Now living in Texas, D'Anna tries to visit once a year and catches a football game to relive some of his old memories. He also still reconnects with his brothers and former teammates.

"The tradition runs deep at O'Dea, a lot of the stuff we did as a school and football team, still happens today, and I am proud to be apart of that rich history."

D'Anna's legacy continues at O'Dea with the attendance of his younger brother Luke who is a junior and carries on the family name.
