O'Dea Beats Bishop Blanchet 54-10

SEATTLE-Last weekend the O'Dea Fighting Irish played Bishop Blanchet in a blowout game at West Seattle Stadium leading O'Dea’s record to 2-0.

O'Dea completely devoured Blanchet winning 54-10. Junior quarterback Luke Danna threw lots of good receptions and junior 4 star running back Jason Brown ran for several touchdowns.

Junior O'Dea corner/wide receiver Ryan Phillips said, “The offense and defense was extremely powerful and just kept pushing and wearing out the other team so I think if we keep doing that and doing our job we got a great chance to going somewhere this year.

He also thought that something they did need to work on was team chemistry and that it's kind of a young team so they just need work more on knowing each other and trusting each other.

Phillips is optimistic about this year's team.

"I think we are a smart solid team we just got to keep grinding and putting work in and that’s all we need to win that championship."

O'Dea is off to a great start, working hard toward the season they have ahead of them.
