The O’Dea lacrosse team continue their dominance

SEATTLE- The O'Dea Fighting Irish lacrosse team continue their strong start to the season with the win against 4A school Bellarmine Prep.


The team was led by senior star attacker Army commit Ethan Linsay, as they ran through Bellarmine Prep 13-7.


Standouts included Linsay and Wade Boyd who each had 4 goals led the way to a pretty easy win.


Also, at the back senior Eli Hinson came up big with 17 saves out of the 24 shots he faced.


They stretch their record to 3-0 and will hope to keep up there perfect start to the season.


The Irish followed all the commands that were ordered by Head Coach Will Snider which led to there dominate win.


“I think we executed are game plan well. We wanted to hold the ball a lot and not give them many opportunities with the ball and we did that pretty well,” said junior Dylan Pignotti.


Bellarmine was led by one Joey Bambrick, one of the best players in the state, who had 4 goals and 1 assist.


In goal for Bellarmine Kris Conner had 7 saves out of the 20 shots he faced.


Next up for the Irish they will be facing archrivals Seattle Prep, the team they beat last year in the district finals.


“Big game against Prep coming up next week that everyone is excited for. We really don't like the prep team so were going out there and fight till the end.”


With their perfect and undefeated start to the season, the Irish will hope to continue their dominance throughout the season and are looking forward into winning another ring in May.
